Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective October 21, 2026

This explains what we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your personal data.

1. What we collect

We collect what you give us, what your use of CollabBridge produces, and what our payment provider reports back to us:

  • •account details — name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), role and account type;
  • •profile details you add — display or company name, bio, industry or niche, location, website, social accounts, rates and availability;
  • •deal details — proposals, agreed terms, deliverable submissions, files you upload, messages, reported performance metrics and dispute evidence;
  • •payment details — amounts, status, timestamps and the payment provider's reference. Card and bank details go directly to our payment provider; we do not store them;
  • •verification details — the evidence you submit for a badge, and the reviewer's notes;
  • •usage and device data — pages viewed, timestamps, IP address, browser and device type;
  • •consent records — which version of our Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, and when.

2. Why we use it

We use your information to:

  • •run the platform and your account, and connect creators with businesses;
  • •record what was agreed in a deal, and show each side what it needs to work together;
  • •process payments and platform fees through our payment provider;
  • •review verification requests, reports and disputes;
  • •send you notifications about your deals, deadlines, payments and messages;
  • •detect and prevent fraud, abuse, impersonation and breaches of our Terms;
  • •comply with our legal, tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations;
  • •understand how the platform is used so we can improve it.

3. What other people can see

Your public profile is visible to anyone, including people who are not logged in, and may be indexed by search engines. Only add what you are comfortable making public — your privacy settings let you hide individual profile fields.

Messages, deal terms, deliverables, uploaded files, payment records and submitted metrics are visible to the other member of that deal and to platform administrators. Reports and verification evidence are visible to administrators and, in the case of a dispute, may be shared with the other member to explain a decision.

Your email address is not shown publicly. It is shared with the other side of an official deal only where they need it to work with you.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed, with:

  • •the other member of a deal, for the details of that deal;
  • •our payment provider (Stripe) to process payments, fees and payouts;
  • •the hosting, storage and infrastructure providers that run the platform;
  • •platform administrators, who review verification, reports and disputes;
  • •law enforcement, regulators or courts where we are legally required or where we believe it is necessary to prevent harm or fraud;
  • •a buyer or successor, if the platform is ever merged, acquired or sold.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and profile data while your account exists. After you close your account we delete or anonymise what we can, but we keep records we need for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute or evidence purposes — including the record that you accepted particular versions of our Terms and Privacy Policy, and records of deals and payments.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile and its privacy settings at any time in the app, and change your notification preferences in your settings.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Some records may be kept where the law requires it or where they are needed for a dispute. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including objecting to certain processing or asking us to restrict it.

To make a request, contact us at collabbridgehq@gmail.com. You may need to verify that the account is yours.

7. Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you logged in, remember your preferences and keep the platform secure. Blocking them may stop parts of CollabBridge from working.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — encrypted connections, access controls, and limiting who can see what. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password and keep it to yourself, and tell us straight away if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else.

9. Age

CollabBridge is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes get notice in the app or by email, and where the law requires it we ask you to accept the new version — the version, date and time are recorded.
